Mine a Planet Pets — All 30 Alien Pets

All 30 alien pets in Mine a Planet (Common to Legendary) — 19 documented names, skills, and catch mechanics from July 2026 creator footage (BETA 8).

How pets work

Alien pets are caught with Alien Balls (Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary balls exist), then deployed on your dock platforms for an earnings boost plus a global skill. Pets level up, can carry their own mutations, and wild pets despawn on a flee timer. The pet index has 30 slots; 19 names are documented from July 2026 footage below. The Alien Pets shop restocks on a timer. This system overlaps the drone index and the mutations page, and the free codes are the usual first stop for new players.

  • Catch odds are shown per ball — a Rare Alien Ball showed about a 27% catch chance in one clip.
  • Deployed pets show a platform earnings boost (e.g. 13.57x at level 36) plus a global skill.
  • Pet upgrades cost cash (a level-36 upgrade was priced at $3.25T).
  • Legendary pet skills seen so far: mining speed, drone luck, and flee-time effects.

The catch loop, start to finish

Pets are not rolled, they are caught, which makes them the one power system here that rewards attention rather than patience. Wild pets appear in the world and leave on their own — a flee timer runs on screen from the moment one spawns, so every catch attempt is under time pressure. You throw an Alien Ball, and balls come in four tiers: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Each tier prints its own catch chance in the interface, which is why you will not find a percentage table on this page. The game shows you that number before you commit the ball, and the one on your screen is the figure that applies to the throw you are about to make. A caught pet then goes to your collection and pays nothing until it is deployed on a dock platform. Sitting in the index it does absolutely nothing, and that is the thing new players get wrong most often.

  • Wild pets carry a visible flee timer and disappear when it runs out
  • Alien Balls come in Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary tiers
  • Each ball tier displays its own catch rate in the UI — read yours instead of trusting a table
  • A pet earns nothing until it is deployed on a dock platform
  • Pets level up and can carry their own mutations, so two of the same pet are not equal

A catching routine that wastes fewer balls

  1. 1Keep at least one ball of every tier in reserve. The flee timer starts before you can go shopping, and the Alien Pets shop restocks on its own schedule.
  2. 2When a pet spawns, read its rarity first. Spending a Legendary ball on a Common spawn is the most expensive mistake available in this system.
  3. 3Check the catch rate the interface prints for the ball you are holding before you throw. That figure is per ball tier and it is on screen for a reason.
  4. 4Throw early in the countdown so a failed attempt still leaves room for a second ball.
  5. 5Deploy the catch immediately. An undeployed pet contributes nothing, and platform earnings scale with pet level, so the sooner it is working the sooner it is levelling.
  6. 6Place global-skill pets deliberately. A skill like Global Mining Speed applies fleet-wide, while the platform multiplier only applies where that pet is standing.

Why our roster stops at 19 of 30

The pet index has 30 slots and we can name 19 of them. That gap is the method, not an oversight. This game has no datamine, no Trello, no patch notes and no official pet list, so every name above was read off a screen — full-resolution frames of the in-game index pulled from creator footage recorded in July 2026. A slot no creator has filled is still a silhouette in their index too, and nobody can see through it. The alternative is what several other Mine a Planet pages do: fill the remaining eleven rows with invented names and plausible-sounding skills, which reads as complete and falls apart the second you open your own index. The rarity split in the table above came from counting slots in those same frames. When new footage shows a filled silhouette, that row gets a name and a capture date, and nothing else on the page changes.

  • 30 index slots counted on screen; 19 named from July 2026 footage
  • No datamine, Trello, patch notes or official pet list exists for this game
  • Unfilled slots are silhouettes in the creator's index too — invisible to everyone
  • Rarity counts come from counting slots in captured frames, not from an official table
  • Names are added when footage shows them, each carrying the date it was captured

Alien pets ranked by availability (a catch-priority order, not a power tier)

Read this as an availability ranking, not a “best pet” power tier: no per-pet earnings or skill numbers are published for most of the roster, so a power ranking would mean inventing tiers we cannot evidence. The order is decided by one column only — the in-game Rarity shown in the “All documented pets (19 of 30)” table above, which is itself read from July 2026 footage. We sort scarcest-first, because that is the useful catch decision: a rarer spawn is worth the matching-tier Alien Ball, while a Common can be picked up with what is in your pocket. The skills listed are only the ones actually captured on screen. Pets also interact with the mutations system, so before spending a high-tier ball, weigh the catch against the drone index and free codes you should claim first.

  • Scarcest (Legendary) — Meowl, Skibidi Toilet, Tralalero: 3 of 3 documented; only Skibidi Toilet has an on-screen skill (Global Mining Speed +4%, max 25%).
  • Epic — Bombardino, Tung Tung, La Vacca, Espresso, Giraffa, Tigroligre, Orcalero: 7 of 7 documented, no skills read on screen yet.
  • Rare — Ballerina, Glorbo, Sigma Boy, Frigo Camelo, Bombombini, Gorillo, Nyan Cat, Smurf Cat: 8 of 8 documented, no skills read on screen yet.
  • Most available (Common) — Lirili Larila: only 1 of 12 slots named, so this band is the least documented, not the weakest.
  • Sort key = the Rarity column from the table above (July 2026 footage). Availability ≠ power; no invented tiers.
