Why is there a code named DISCORD?

It grants a 5-minute Time Skip — presumably released to promote the server. You can redeem it in-game via the Settings gear icon whether or not you ever join Discord.

How do I get codes without joining Discord?

From this site or from the game itself. Six codes are currently reported working — BETA9BETA, UPDATE8, UPDATE7, DISCORD, BETABETA and DRONES — and all of them are typed into the code box behind the Settings gear. Our codes page lists what each one gives and where the report came from. BETA9BETA remains labeled reported because we have not redeemed it independently.

Someone posted an invite in a YouTube comment. How do I check it?

Compare it against the game's Roblox page and nothing else. If the invite is not listed there under Skydog Games, you have no way to tell the real server from a clone — and a comment section is the one place a clone is guaranteed to advertise. Before accepting any invite, look at when the server was created and who owns it; both are visible before you say a word in it.

If the Discord is unverified, where do updates come from?

Roblox's own APIs. Version changes show up as title changes on the experience — BETA 7, BETA 8, BETA 9, now BETA 10 — and scheduled events are public. The current event is active through August 8 with its subtitle listed as "???". Why this page has no invite link

Every other Mine a Planet Discord page you will find prints an invite code. We do not, and the reason is narrow: we have never opened a server, matched it against something the developer published, and confirmed it belongs to Skydog Games. What we hold is circumstantial — several outlets say an official server exists, and the game ships a code literally named DISCORD that grants a 5-minute Time Skip, exactly the sort of thing a developer hands out to advertise a server. That is a strong hint. It is not verification, and an invite link is the kind of claim where being ninety percent sure is not good enough, because the way it fails is sending a twelve-year-old into a server run by someone harvesting Roblox accounts. Invite codes are also cheap to fake and impossible to judge by eye: a vanity URL can be bought, a server renamed in seconds, and a copied icon plus a copied banner puts a convincing clone one search result away from the real thing. How fake servers actually work

The scam is rarely inside Discord — Discord is the waiting room. A cloned server copies the name, icon and channel layout, then puts a "verification" bot at the door that asks you to click through to a site and sign in with Roblox. The page looks right because it is a screenshot-accurate copy, and what it captures is either your password or, more often, the session cookie that makes a password irrelevant. Variations worth recognising: a giveaway channel that requires you to link your account to enter, a moderator DM saying your account was flagged and needs re-verification, a free Robux or free rare drone offer whose only condition is a login, and an auto-farm download pinned in a channel that looks quiet and official. Real Roblox verification never happens on a random domain — the legitimate flow is a bot asking you to put a code in your Roblox profile description, and nothing more. No developer, moderator or bot has a reason to see your password, and Skydog Games has never asked for one anywhere.

Your first five minutes in any Mine a Planet server

1Check who owns it. The owner should trace back to Skydog Games, the same creator credited on the Roblox game page — a server run by anyone else is a fan server at best.
2Read the pinned messages and look at how old the server is. No rules channel and no history older than a few weeks is worth being suspicious about.
3Turn off direct messages from members of that server in its privacy settings. That one toggle closes the most common attack path.
4Treat every link as untrusted, including links posted by accounts with a moderator colour — roles are trivial to hand out in a server someone else owns.
5If a bot asks you to sign in with Roblox on a website, close the tab and leave the server. Nothing in Discord needs your Roblox password.
6Redeem codes inside the game from the Settings gear only. No bot, site or DM can redeem a code for you, and any that offers to is after your login.

If you already clicked a fake invite

1Change your Roblox password now, reaching the site by typing roblox.com into the address bar rather than through any link you were sent.
2Turn on 2-Step Verification in account settings if it is not already on. That is what stops a stolen password from becoming a stolen account.
3Under Security, log out of all other sessions. A thief who captured your session cookie never needed the password, and this is what cuts them off.
4Review the authorised third-party applications on the account and revoke anything you do not recognise.
5If Robux or items are already missing, report it to Roblox support and change the password on the email address attached to the account too.
