About these numbers
Mine a Planet's roll formulas are unpublished. “Official” figures come from the game's own store description; “observed” figures were seen in community footage and await confirmation; “estimate” presets are what-if math, not real game rates.
Drone Luck & Rarity Calculator
Mine a Planet never shows you a pity counter or a cumulative probability — the roll pedestal only prints a single "1 in N" line. This calculator turns that one number into the figures players actually want: how many rolls a rarity should take on average, how long that is at your roll speed, and what your odds look like after a set number of attempts. Every preset carries the rarity odds read off in-game pedestals in July 2026 footage, labeled observed, alongside the 1-in-25-trillion figure the developer advertises in the store description, labeled official.
Luck Calculator FAQ
What are the drone roll odds in Mine a Planet?
Skydog Games has never published a full rate table. The figures in this calculator were read directly off in-game roll pedestals in July 2026 creator footage: Epic 1 in 1,280, Legendary 1 in 9,355, Mythic 1 in 100,000, Secret about 1 in 4 million, Divine 1 in 12.8 million, and Exotic 1 in 25 million. The only developer-stated number is the 1-in-25-trillion claim in the store description, which most likely refers to the Transcendent tier. Prismatic and Transcendent pedestal odds have not been captured yet, so they are not presets.
Does the Luck stat actually change the odds?
The official game description tells you to "boost your Luck and pull god-tier drones," so Luck clearly does something — but the formula behind it has never been published. This calculator treats your Luck multiplier as a straight divisor on the 1-in-N figure, which is the simplest possible assumption, not a verified game rule. If Skydog Games uses diminishing returns or a tier-weighted curve instead, real results will differ from the output here.
How long would a 1-in-25-trillion drone actually take?
Select the official 1-in-25-trillion preset and enter your real roll speed. Even at a fast sustained pace the expected time lands in the millions of years, which is the honest answer: that figure is a marketing headline, not a target you grind toward. Anyone claiming a reliable method to pull it is selling something.
What is the rarest drone in Mine a Planet?
The in-game Drone Index lists 51 drones across 11 rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret, Divine, Exotic, Prismatic, and Transcendent. Transcendent is the top tab, so the advertised 1-in-25-trillion drone almost certainly sits there. We have 31 of the 51 names documented from footage — the full roster is on the drones page.
Can I export the results to Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. The copy-results button outputs spreadsheet-ready rows you can paste straight into Excel or Google Sheets, which is useful for logging several rarities side by side or tracking a long roll session.
